YAY!

Today I finished my science project! I had some editing to do on my essay, and i had to type up the info to put on my poster. Also I made a bibliography really easliy using and so all i had to do was print it. My poster looks really good and it's colorful. The poster is orange, some writing is in black, i printed the info on yellow paper, one picture i used is blue, and one is purple. So that's five colors! LOL. But the good news is that I can go with my mom to New York! My grandparents just came back from india and they landed in New Jersey and right now they are staying with my aunt, uncle, and cousin in Long Island, New York. I am so excited to go because 1) i haven't seen my grandparents since we left india in the middle of january and 2) i love seeing my cousin because he is the cutest little thing and he grows so fast and i want to be able to keep tabs on him. So yeah I'm excited to go and yeah! Well this is a long enough post... make sure you vote on my poll!

Update on my last post

The orchestra thing was really fun! We practiced our songs and then we all inhaled eight boxes of pizza. After that we just hung out and played duck duck goose. It was cool. OMG it's, like, still raining! It's been raining ever since i got up this morning (at 6:30 AM) and probably even before. How does the sky have enough water in it?! Lol. I started my poster today! Well all i did was put letter stickers on the top saying "WANTED". But still it looks awesome!!! Tomorrow's gonna be a busy bee day cuz i really need to get some serious work done on the poster. I was planning on staying after school to go to the annual student against staff basket ball game but if i do that i'll have even less time to work on my poster so Jess, tell me how it ends! Hahaha lol well that'll be two posts today and i'll see you later!

Hehe it's wet outside :P

Hi! What's up?! Sooo i finished my essay! I'll need it to be edited though... well today i have a lot of homework and i'll try to do a little bit of work on my poster. So yesterday we got a little bit of snow and it was just a dusting or so. And today it rained and still is and the snow turned to slush, the rain is freezing, and outside it's disgusting! Yuck. Tonight I have an orchestra thing where we go and practice and eat pizza and stuff. So that's at six and yeah... ttyl!

Dance

Last night at dance we worked on our recital dance! As you all know we are doing Funhouse by P!nk for our recital. I gotta say- our dance stinks on ice! We just can't pull off what our teacher has choreographed! It's actually a kind of awkward dance. BUT we fixed it! I think that everybody in our class will be able to pull this one off! It's smooth, fresh, and cool! Also when we come out, we can roll instead of just walking! Awesome huh?! Also guess what?! Last night I finished the third Percy Jackson book-The Titan's Curse! I'm onto the fourth one! I haven't started it yet though. Yeah well that's all for now!

Today I had Rheanna over and we played on the wii. We played wii play and it was sooo much fun you cannot even believe it! She was really interested in fishing, shooting, and find mii! Weren't you dearie? We also went on a walk on the bike path which was fun! Guess what?! Percy Jackson is the best thing ever! He is sooo cool and so is his friend Annabeth and so is his brother Tyson. I don't like Thalia though. She's.... ugh! Later I have hip hop and that's bout it!

Yesterday

Yesterday I didn't have much to do so I watched a movie, played the wii... you know. But I soon got bored of that so I read the second Percy Jackson book and finished it. It was super good! And today I'm gonna start on the third and hopefully finish it but I don't think that's gonna happen because I have to work on my science project and then in the afternoon I'm going to my friend's house. Soo basically I have a couple hours before her house and afterward I'm just gonna sit down and plow my way through that book! I'll keep you updated :)

What I actually did today... :)

So I said that I would work on my science project but that didn't happen... I was gonna but then we had a question about it so we email my teacher and I had to stop. What I did instead was play wii. And then I watched TV. I did go outside though! I built a rockin snow fort out of this snow block maker thing. It was just a rectangular shaped plastic box that I filled with snow and dumped it out in the shape of a block. I made my fort three blocks high and it came out really good! I'll post a picture of it on my other blog! So check it out!

Plans for the day!

Hi everybody! So today I was gonna go over my friend Steph's house but because of the snow the roads are bad and my driveway is especially bad. If you haven't seen it it's long and steep sort of... So I'll go over in a couple of days. Meanwhile I'm gonna work on my science project and try to get the essay done. Because once the essay (the hard part) is done the poster will be easy and so will the presentation. If you go to my school then leave a comment saying which disease you have to do. I thought I had an idea as to what my poster will look like but I'm having second thoughts now. So I'll probably do it a different way... I don't know. I'll just concentrate on my essay for now! Updates

Hi people! Today I think I'm gonna get started on some of the homework I've been meaning to do... I have a science project on pneumonia and a big math packet! It looks SO dreary outside!! As you can see I put up a new poll and... well yeah it's a bit intense lol. Btw I have been posting more pictures on my other blog! They aren't India pictures, they're just pics from February! I think today I'll put up some more so watch for those and also I put on a new poll on that blog too so check it out and PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE vote because I really need your opinion on that!!!! Happy V-Day!

Hey guys! Happy Valentine's Day! I made a really nice card for my family today and I put lolly pops inside! My mom gave us this big box of chocolates and she gave my dad a new running watch. And everybody exchanged cards. What did you guys do today? I think that later we're gonna go on a walk with Meenah! I'm just lovin my new hair cut!! Can't wait to show my peeps (aka friends at school)!!

Today

Hi!! So I had an eventful (enough) day today! First I got my hair cut. I only ment to have a trim to touch it up but then I had my mind changed... So I got layers! And an angle on the front! My hair looks really pretty! After that we went to see Percy Jackson! Lol it was really good though! It was nothing like the book but that doesn't matter because the movie was nice anyway! After that we got chinese take out at Feng Shui! YUMMY! That's my favorite restuarant of all!! It's sooo good!!! Yeah that's basically what we did today and that's good enough for me!

Bonne Vacances de February!!!!

That means "Happy February Vacation"!! Hahaha at last! What are you people doing over the break?? I'm staying home, kicking back, and relaxing! So today the sixth grade went to see Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief!! They apparently read the book in school. Me and my friend Olivia went up to the sixth grade wing and we wanted to visit our teachers from last year but they weren't there cuz they all went to see PJ. But the sixth graders made this humungo poster that said "CAMP HALF-BLOOD" in big orange letters. Also they decorated their doors and put Greek god symbols on their doors like Zeus's lightning bolt. Another thing they did was make
"Camp Half-Blood" t-shirts. They're orange with black letters that say "camp half-blood". When they came back from the movies I said "SO HOW WAS PERCY JACKSON YAY YAY!!!!" and they all went "YEAH PERCY JACKSON WOOP WOOP AHHHHHHHH" and started screaming and stuff. It was funny... after their field trip they went on a "quest" to find Zeus's lightning bolt. I want to see that movie really bad!! I read the first book. My friend Rheanna is going tonight to see it. My other friend Jess is going to see Valentines Day today. So you can see I have choices but I'm not going out tonight. Like I said- I'm kicking back and r-e-l-a-x-i-n-g!

half day-again!

Today we got dismissed from school early because of the expected snow storm. Some storm though... we only got a light dusting of snow! But at least we all got two half days in a row! I haven't had French class for two whole days! Ugh I have a really bad cold :( i'm all stuffed up in the nose and i got a super bad cough all of a sudden! Last night I went to sleep before 9! Wow that's crazy but I was soo tired in the morning! Okay nerd alert! I am SO pumped about tech engineering because my bridge is coming out soo good! I'm making a suspension bridge with trusses on it and we are building them out of tooth picks but they're longer and thicker... I lifted my bridge off the paper this morning and it stayed together and I was so happy with myself because I'm terrible at engineering! Oh btw I posted some pictures on my picture blog! Half day today! Went to the mall!!

Today we had a half day at school so me, jess, rheanna, and jen went to the mall after school. We went to Aeropostle, Hollister, American Eagle, Claire's, Sephora, Delia's, Pac Sun, Hot Topic, and Coach. It was really fun! At Aeropostale I had two gift cards and they had a total of 50$ together. I bought 2 tank tops (2 for $20) and a white aero belt with silver holes. We browsed at all the other stores and my friends bought stuff at Holister and Claire's and Delia's. We met this girl at the mall that is new to our town and she's in our grade. She's in Rheanna's gym class and Jen's world geography class apparently. She was really nice! She asked to sit with us at our table in the food court and we just chatted and it was cool! I love going to the mall!!! Bye!!

Ballet! ...and life

Today I had ballet after school at 4. We worked more on our recital dance. It's coming out quite nice, quite nice indeed. Lol yeah it rocks! We do some acting in it and the song is way different from other peoples ballet songs. Anyway I love it. We are starting a new project in science. We each got assigned a different disease caused my bacteria and I got pneumonia. That's the familiar one I know... other people got different diseases that I've never heard of in my life!! I'm pumped for this project because I know exactly what I'm going to do. All I need to do now is do it! Okay I know that I sound like a complete nerd but yeah... usually I stress over projects but for some reason not this one... lol anyway that's what's going on in my life today!

Okay so on the Wii you can download an Internet channel! I just did that and typed in my blog and VOILA! You people out there that have Wii should get this channel cuz it's free. Well this is gonna be a short post cuz it's sort of hard to type on this... bye!

J's B-day part-ay

I blogged earlier that Jemma was gonna have a b-day party today. It was at this little place in town. Everyone wore fancy dresses (even me). We did little crafts like making a tiara and making a bracelet. Mine came out really good :) but so did everyone's. Then we each got hot chocolate or punch and ate brownies, rice crispies treats, popcorn, pretzels, and fruit salad. One of the ladies read us some princess story and then we all left. It was so cute! And also, I straightened my hair today and it looks really good! I'm so excited! I want to get my own hair straighener!! I probably won't be able to borrow my mom's straitener everyday... also my mom said that if I wear my holiday dress to her party I can wear makeup cuz i usually can't wear it all the time. So I put on some black eye liner, foundation, purplish greyish eye shadow, and a mocha pink lipstick. I looked amazing!! I have to wear this look every day!!

Plans for Today

Today it's Jemma's birthday party! I'm actually kinda excited because it will be so cute and girly. She is having a fancy dress tea party at this cute little place. Everyone will wear fancy clothes and have tea and do crafts and games. I'm gonna go and help out by taking pictures. I'll be the photographer-yay! Well I'll probably post again later after the party... bye for now!

Hip Hop

Today at hip hop we did a dance to Telephone by Lady Gaga Feat Beyonce. It's her new song and I really like it! I put it on my ipod a few days ago. The dance was really cool. Only some weeks we do our recital dance which I think is kinda weird but whatevs... In LA we are working on writing poems. Last night for homework we had to write a sonnet. It was supposed to be all lovey and gushy and stuff. My teacher said that every year she chooses the best one that a student wrote and puts it on her Valentine's Day card for her husband. How funny is that?! lol... well that's all for now!

Hmmm what to blog about...?

Well our study is finally complete! Yay it's taken a couple years but my dad fixed it up from a porch to a heated addition to our house. He also made a desk for my mom and then the other desk is for his laptop and the home computer. We also got a papason which is a sort of bowl chair that's really comfortable! So yesterday hahaha Meenah chased a cat up a tree. The poor fat black cat was up there for hours but in the middle of the night it climbed down. Meenah was so proud! It was a stimulating mental exercises! Lol what is it with the cat dog rivalry?! ALSO-- My birthday is in exactly FIVE WEEKS OH YEAH!!! Haha that's kind of a long time... lol

Nothing Gold Can Stay

Okay so yesterday I only had ONE thing for homework and today I have it in ALL subjects! Unfair! So I've been working my butt off ever since 4! Well I'm gonna practice my violin for a little bit because I've only done it for 50 minutes this week so I need to go at least 10 more minutes. I am so proud of myself because yesterday I did my work out and I did 70 sit-ups without stopping and 10 really good push-ups and a minute in each one of my splits! Yeah!! Okay I know this is random but I can recite the whole poem "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost by heart:
Nature's first green is gold.
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower,
But only so an hour.
And leaf subsides to leaf.

Happy Groundhog Day

Yay it's groundhog day! Okay I'm not really that happy because the stupid groundhog saw it's stupid shadow and now winter is gonna be six stupid more weeks. Joy. Today I didn't have much homework yay only math! But I'm so confused on that stuff that were learning about!! Percents, decimals, and fractions are not an easy subject matter. I practiced my violin for 25 minutes! I need to do a total of an hour a week. It is sooo cold here in New England! Omg it's not even funny! I walk outside in the morning and my eyes instantly tear up and my toes immediately feel like they are frostbitten. Yeah, I hope that gives you an idea... Right now my doggy is laying next to me in bed and she is so warm and cuddley! I wish she could stay all night :)

Dance and other things...

Hey peeps! So I think I'm gonna try to keep my posts short and sweet cuz i think it's easier for people to read them when they're like that. What do you think? Yes or no? Oui ou non? Today I had ballet and our teacher wasn't there so we had to do technique the whole time which was really tiring. And the lady that filled in had us do them really fast so it was hard to keep up. In LA we watched part of The Outsiders movie. It was good but a little gruesome... you know?! I think on Thursday I'll stay after school with a few other girls and help one of my teachers make valentine's day hearts. I think that will be fun. We got our report cards back today! I got all A's except for with math :( but I'll try harder... That's all for now!! :) :) :)
