A cat has 32 muscles in each ear. Cats have over 100 vocal sounds, while dogs have only about 10. On average people fear spiders more than they do death. You are more likely to be killed by a champagne cork than by a poisonous spider. A group of frogs is called an army. A group of rhinos is called a crash A group of kangaroos is called a mob. A group of whales is called a pod. A group of geese is called a gaggle. A group of ravens is called a murder. A group of officers is called a mess. A group of larks is called an exaltation. A group of owls is called a parliament. A group of doves is called a salvation. The starfish is the only animal that can turn its stomach inside out. Starfish don't have brains and neither do jellyfish. A pregnant goldfish is called a twit. A goldfish has a memory span of 3 seconds. Tigers have striped skin, not just striped fur. A ducks quack doesn’t echo and no one knows why. The milk of a hippo is bright pink. Donald Duck's middle name is Fauntleroy. When a giraffe's baby is born it falls from a height of six feet, normally without being hurt. An Ostrich’s eye is bigger than its brain. The muzzle of a lion is like a fingerprint - no two lions have the same pattern of whiskers.
