First Day of Summer

Okay, for school kids, the first day of summer is the first "school day" without school. So my school ended on Friday. I didn't feel that it was summer till Monday which was yesterday. So the first day of summer happened to be rainy and there was no sun whatsoever. Plus it thundered all day. Me, Dahlia, and our summer babysitter Tayla did go down to the pool club because of Dahlia's swim team practice. But the life guards who are also the coaches didn't even let them go into the water. They played games in the grassy area. Dahlia said that they had to crawl around in the wet grass. Eww! But the coaches let the kids go early anyway. We went home and had to spend the first day of summer inside the house! Boy, it better be nice today!
