Meenah's Bath

I just gave Meenah a bath. I brought her into my parent's shower because it's smaller than the other shower. I didn't want too much room because then, Meenah would wander out of the water and refuse to get back in. So I got in and called to her. She was frightened and wouldn't come in so my mom set her in and I gave her plenty of treats. Then I used human shampoo and scrubbed her with it. I rinsed her (or I tryed to rinse her). But it wasn't very easy. The shampoo got all under her fur and I had to take about 10 minutes just getting it out. Then I shampooed and rinsed again. After that I put conditioner on her and moved her away from the water. As the conditioner soaked in, I shampooed and rinsed myself. Then I took the shower head and rinsed Meenah. I felt very bad for her. She was a good girl. She just sat there wondering when it was over. But she was soaked! And she looked like a mutt. All this time my mom and Jemma sat by and watched. Jemma felt left out that she couldn't wash Meenah so my mom made her the official Treat Giver. My mom talked soothingly to Meenah, to calm her down. After her last rinse, I let her out and my mom dried her off. Meenah shook herself a ton of times. The whole bathroom was wet. Then my mom blow dryed her. Meenah is such a good girl. She didn't struggle when I bathed her and she layed down and didn't run away when my mom blow dryed her. It was cute, but NOT EASY!!!
