First it was mommy's birthday. She didn't want cake but we did go to a fancy Chinese restaurant that was SO good. We gave lots of presents and cards. Dahlia and Jemma used tissues in their gift bags instead of tissue paper! I had to fold them up again and put them in the tissue box. Yesterday (Thursday) it was Daddy's birthday. Mommy made him a wonderful dinner of pork roast. And she made him cake. He did want 46 candles but we only had 11. I put 4 candles in one side and 6 candles in the other. 46. He got really good presents. From Mamuma and Ajja he got a cool brown shirt. From Grammy and Grandpa, he got a fountain pen. It's real fancy. Me and my sisters all got a turn using it. He also got 150 bucks. And a book by Neal Stephenson. Whoever that is...All in all, it was a good birthday month.
UPDATE: Daddy also got a sweet hammock!
