Back from the Wedding

Hey guys! I just got back from a wedding we went to this weekend! It was on the other side of Massachusetts so we had to drive a bit of a ways to get there. We stayed at a really fancy hotel! It was great! On Friday night we went to rehearsal dinner. Since the groom is Indian, the rehearsal dinner was at an Indian restaurant and we all had to wear Indian clothes. It was cool! Then on Saturday we went to the Catholic wedding ceremony at a church and I wore this really pretty white dress! The bride was SOOO pretty!!!!!!!!! Then later we went to a quick Indian ceremony but we could still wear our American clothing. Then we went to a Cocktail Hour where we mingled and ate little snacks (not meaning to be rude or anything but those snacks were disgusting!! Scallops wrapped in bacon?! Really?!) So I didn't really eat anything... Then everyone went to the reception in a really big ball room! We were assigned to table 17 with a couple other families. It was really cool cuz the DJ announced really loud who was coming in but he only announced the important people like bridesmaids, ushers, parents, and of course the bride and groom! They all ran in and they were dancing around and stuff and it was amusing. Then a few people made toasts and I drank my Champagne which wasn't even half bad... So many courses were brought out and I had like four different forks and two different knives! After people ate the DJ put some music on really loud and all the women went up to dance. Then I caved and went up and danced and it was awesome! The song from Greece (I forget what it's called) that Rachel sang in Glee to Finn in that weirdo costume came on. And Push It came on! Lol! EVERYBODY danced to that! And Don't Stop Believing came on too! AND I swear I saw a Finn double!! He looked JUST like Finn! But he danced like Kurt and red flags went up in my head saying KURT ALERT!!!!!!!!! Anyways it was a lot of fun!!!
