School was today!!!

School was today! I got up at 6:30 all by myself. I guess that was because I was excited. I didn't eat much breakfast though. Only a few bites of Apple Jacks. Then I got dressed and fussed over my hair for ten minutes. After that I still had almost a half an hour before I had to go catch the bus. When it was finally 7:30, I put my backpack on, made sure that my bus pass was in my pocket, and said goodbye. When I got to the bus stop, I was so nervous. I felt like throwing up. Later on the bus, I almost sat in the fifth grade section. But just when I was about to, I noticed that I was in sixth grade and all the kids in that section were in fifth grade. So I moved on. We were late to get to school. I found my classroom ( PC 3) and sat down in a seat near my friends. Mrs. Trainor was nice-oh exept for the fact that she wasn't there! She just got a baby so she's not coming back till October 17. Well at least the substitute is nice. Homeroom was actually most of the day. The sub talked about rules and about what we will be doing in social studies. We are studing ancient times. We will learn about ancient Rome, Greece, China, India, ect. And he said that he didn't give a ton of homework!!! (yay!). The only periods we didn't have in our homeroom was gym and lunch. Then for the rest of the day we filled out sheets that were for getting to know each other. Later we worked on our self portraits. I think mine came out good. Well all in all....IT WAS A GREAT DAY!!!
