I am posting this from Long Island, New York. We went here to celabrate Rowan's (my little baby cousin) first birthday. He is now officially 1 years old. At Rowan's little party there were many balloons, which I helped with. I tied the string on them. The theme of the party was blocks so the pieces of cake that were already cut in squares looked like blocks. The had an out line and then a letter in the middle. There was a pinatta ( i don't know how to spell that) at the party and it was the kind where you pull strings and one of them opens the pinatta. Rowan didn't know how to pull the strings so we tied them to his wrist and when he pull away the string would come out. The last string that was left was obviously the one that opened it up and we tied it to his wrist and pulled him. Since it was the right string it was kind of hard to pull out and it hurt Rowan's little wrist. So me and my sisters all pulled it together and it came out. All the candy started showering out and Rowan was frightened. He cried. But me and my sisters have a Life Long Supply of Candy. There was also a Rowan trivia game. I got one of the questions right. The party was so much fun. And afterwards we let some of the balloons go and wrote notes on them. Probably by today somebody will have them.
This time, I actually picked Rowan up AND carried him around!! I couldn't really get him onto my hip like mothers do... Maybe because I don't have big hips. But Rowan is the cutest widdle thing ever made! If we wave our hands and say " bye bye" Rowan will flap his hands around! If we clap our hands, he'll clap! And he likes to clap. All in all, Rowan is a cute little kid.
