In NH we went to Santa's Village and Story land. We skipped Six Gun City because it didn't look that cool. It looked like it had a couple water rides and a couple dry rides. But we got to spend more time at story land! We went for the half day and got the next day free! The condo was awesome! It had 1 bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The dining table was between the living room and kitchen area. The sofa opened to be a bed and there was an upstairs with a bed in it! The stairs upstairs were cool but a little bit scary because they were narrow and curvy. Our room even came with a washing and drying machine! The resort had an indoor pool, game room, restaurant, outdoor pool, hot tub, and lots of parks. Next to the resort was a mountain where people ski except they had something different. There was a slide that was kinda like a trough because it curved up on the sides. People would sit on something ( i couldn't tell what it was) and you slide down!
Santa's village was alright. It was kind of babyish, but it did have 1 good ride- the Yule Log Flume. The drop was actually really big! They also had a reindeer that would respond when you said something. So here was my conversation with the reindeer: (rd stands for reindeer)
me: hi...
rd: hi there!
me: i was just wondering about your nose...
rd: what about my nose?
me: I was just wondering how it glows.
rd: Santa gives me magic.
me: why doesn't he give the other reindeers magic?
rd: because I'm special!
me : why?
rd: because I got picked on by the other reindeers.
me: oh...
rd: okay well thanks for visiting! have fun at the park!
The reindeer was trying to get rid of me because I was asking it uncomfortable questions! Besides, Rudolph's nose doesn't glow because of magic Santa gives him. He was just born like that! I also got to pet the reindeers that were real! Believe it or not, their antlers felt like velvet!
At story land, Mom and Dad let me and dahlia go off alone! We went on all of the usual stuff: Bamboo Chutes log ride, Doctor Geyser's remarkable raft ride, Polar Costar, and Flying fish. I got a picture from the bamboo chutes of me and Dahlia! Everything was just the same as last time but still lots of fun.
On the way back we went to Clark's Trading Post. We saw the bear show, acrobat show, went on the train ride, went into Merlin's Mystical Mansion ( it goes "upside down"), bumper boats and got our picture taken with the wolfman. Dad climbed the Man on the Mountain Rock Wall. It was a lot of fun but we didn't get to spend that much time there because we came sort of late. We had spent two hours playing in the freezing cold Saco river. It was fun, and we were soaked! Me and Daddy waded all the way across and got used to the water after a while.
Yesterday we went to the beach. It was so much fun. I didn't find any pretty shells though . Oh well, I tumbled in the waves! I sat down in the water and when a giant wave came, it made me do a backflip underwater. That was so scary. Mom video taped me for a while. I haven't put it on the computer yet but I think when I do I'll put it on my blog.
I'm still not unpacked. I should probably do that today. We got Meenah back yesterday and she is cuter than ever!
