Right now i am in Goa which is in southern India. We are staying at a beach resort that has the best pool in the world! Omg I've gone swimming in it twice and it's awesome! It has three different sections, a water slide, hot tub, and swim up bar! Yes, the drink bar is right in the pool and you can swim up to it and order a drink and sit there in the pool and drink it! Too cool! Right next to the resort is the beach. The waves are giant!! I keep finding all these cool curly shell things and I'm going to try and find enough to give to my friends!
Before this we were staying at a beautiful and peaceful bungalow in a little town. It was so relaxing there. The house was an old fashioned house that they took piece by piece to the location it's in right now. Then they modernized it by putting in electricity and running water. It has a small courtyard in the middle of the house and four bedrooms. There is a little porch in the back of it and all around the house there is a nice yard with geese, chickens, birds, and dogs running around it. And the best part-There's the BEST beach right by it!! You can get to it by taking a short five minute walk along a trail in the woods. The water is warm, there are no bugs, there are palm trees, and nobody is there. I took some pictures of it. It looks like it came straight out of a magazine ad! Seriously. The only draw-back to the peaceful retreat house is this: at about 5:00 AM on the first night there was this horrible chanting sort of music that was played on a radio and blasted as loud as it could go. It sounded terrible and it was soo loud and it was early morning and it made all the dogs bark!! On the second night there was some terrible "music" but it played at around 3:00 AM. It sounded like it was played on a toy piano that was broken, if that gives you an idea. We didn't get much sleep there but besides that everything was perfect about that bungalow.
I'm not sure that I can post any pictures after all because my laptop hasn't been working lately. I'm charging it right now so hopefully that will help. Also we only have Internet access for one laptop so mine doesn't even get it :( Oh well...
Tomorrow we will be leaving for Mumbai. We are spending two nights there and then we will be coming home. My grandparents are staying for another month because they have to go to a wedding. We can't stay that long though, we have to come home. It is so warm here and I'm not exactly looking forward to going back to cold weather. I'll probably show up to school all bundled up and everybody else will think it's warm weather... Ugh, but at least on my first day back to school we will be taking a field trip! To the movies to see Invictus!!! Hahaha i have the good life... :)
