A Poem

I wrote this poem on January 19, 2009. It is called Rainbow.


A man walked down the dusty street
one dull and rainy day.
As he walked, the sun came out
and children ran out to play

The man looked up at the sky
and saw a beam of light.
It looked faint;barely there.
The rainbow's colors were so bright.

This man was very glum-
he was feeling quite sad.
As it turned out, something bad had happened
He had lost his dad.

His dad was the only one left for him
and he was very tearful.
But looking up at the rainbow
he was almost cheerful.
