My Birthday Party

My birthday party was yesterday! It was so much fun because it was a roller skating party. My friend Heidi slept over the night before so that she could go to the party. In the afternoon, we got there before the party started to get set up and everything. Me and Heidi went to get our skates. This Miley Cyrus song came on and the teenage guy at the skate rental counter was singing it. Me and Heidi looked away and tried not to laugh.
When we first started roller skating, we were both really bad. We eventually got better and then my other friends arrived. We were all roller skating together. Accept a few of my friends were really fast so they were zipping past us at top speed. Three of my other friends (including Heidi) were skating while holding hands and going really slowly. No one was really my speed, though. I was kind of medium speed and everyone else was faster or slower than me.
Half way through the party we all got pizza or a hot dog, ice cream and cake that Daddy made. When we were done, we took a break from skating and played arcade games. My mom got some rolls of quarters so that everyone could have ten. Plus, the party came with 25 free tickets for every guest. We got things with the tickets afterward but nobody could really get anything big. We got stuff like rings and Jolly Ranchers.
Then I opened my gifts. I got a couple scarves (really pretty), two necklaces (also really pretty), Aeropostale perfume that smells amazing, and I-Dog, some lip gloss, some nail polish, an earring and necklace set (they are a star and moon set), a Chelmsford bag with my name on it (Chelmsford is our town), and small pink catty, and two GIANT candy bars. Those were from my friends, but on my real birthday my sister Dahlia gave me a bag full of small things that she made including: perfume, a coaster, and a game. My other sister Jemma gave me a Chelmsford sweatshirt (that's maroon cuz that's our town color), and my Mamuma and Aja gave me a Nintendo DS with three games!!!!!!!
So anyway, the party was awesomely fun! Sadly, it's the last real party I'll have. I will have small sleepovers and such from now on!
